Nourishment for body, soul and spirit

Cooking and eating is so much more than just preparing and consuming food. Ancient wisdom teachings understand food as medicine and not just as a filler for the body. This ancient knowledge flows into my recipes, my personalised consultations and, of course, into my cooking and my food.

I invite you to get to know "food" and the "spirit of plants" anew, to listen to your inner voice and to discover it as YOUR personal remedy.

"Let the food be your remedy and the remedy be your food."

– Hippokrates

"God rests in the stone, sleeps in the plant, dreams in the animal and awakens in man."

– Rabindaranath Tagore

"God has never created a disease for which he has not also created a remedy."

– Paracelsus

"The marvellous lives in every creature of nature."

- Aristoteles

My kitchen sound

In my AMITA cooking studio, I don't just prepare food according to ayurvedic Philosophy , but also Plant waters, tinctures, green cosmetics and much more. It's about listening to your inner voice, which tells you exactly what you need to stay and/or become healthy. I support you in this.

Ayurveda

With Ayurveda to more balance in life, physical health and harmony with body, soul and spirit.

Ayurveda comes from Sanskrit and means "the knowledge of life". Body, mind and soul are understood as a whole. The knowledge of life is based on this. This philosophy is consistent with everything I do and is the basis of my cuisine.

Ayurveda provides us with the key to understanding the connections between man and nature, health and illness, microcosm and macrocosm. The aim of Ayurveda is to find unity with our true nature and our higher divine self.

Live and eat according to your constitution

Ayurveda considers the human being as a whole. It recognises the individuality of each person in body, soul and spirit. It is a holistic system of medicine with nutrition as a pillar in the great whole of our being. If you allow yourself to become involved in the thousands of years of knowledge, you will gain completely new insights for yourself.

The doshas are an important teaching in Ayurvada

They originate from the five elements and can be understood as three overarching energetic principles. These forces control our physiological processes. A good interplay of the three forces results in a balanced state.

VATA

Principle of movement

Air/ether

PITTA

Principle of metabolism and dynamics

Fire/water

KAPHA

Principle of conservation and structure

Earth/water

Plants hydrosol

Plant waters or plant hydrolates have been produced for centuries and have fallen into oblivion.

When you spray a plant water into your luminous body/aura, close your eyes and breathe in deeply, you feel and experience what a plant water is. The ingredients and the spirit of the plant are captured in the plant water and resonate throughout our entire system.

The production of plant water is something very special. The plants are carefully selected and asked to make themselves available for the plant water. Depending on the impulse and area of application, I use fresh spring water or rainwater specially collected in a glass bowl.

The distillation process is pure alchemy. Some waters are accompanied by healing sounds during distillation.

Let your soul be touched by the magical creatures of nature.

Green cosmetics

Our nature is so full of valuable treasures that are not only good for the stomach! Our skin also enjoys the freshness and naturalness of the products we feed it.

Green cosmetics means that everything you have in your kitchen and garden is processed into wonderfully fragrant and nourishing ointments, creams, deodorants etc. without any additives. It takes less effort than preparing breakfast.

For me, it is a very special experience to preserve my garden for longer in the form of creams and ointments and thus have something of the abundance all year round. The preparation is great fun and you always have a souvenir and gift to hand.
